Iran Boosts Qods Shock Troops in Venezuela
Pentagon Predicts U.S. Clash with Islamist Paramilitary

Iran is increasing its paramilitary Qods force operatives in Venezuela while covertly continuing supplies of weapons and explosives to Taliban and other insurgents in Afghanistan and Iraq, according to the Pentagon's first report to Congress on Tehran's military.

The report on Iranian military power provides new details on the group known formally as the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps-Qods Force (IRGC-QF), the Islamist shock troops deployed around the world to advance Iranian interests. The unit is aligned with terrorists in Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel, North Africa and Latin America, and the report warns that U.S. forces are likely to battle the Iranian paramilitaries in the future.

Burning Oil Rig Sinks into Gulf; 11 Still Missing

U.S. Coast Guard photo shows fire boat response crews battle the blazing remnants of the off shore oil rig Deepwater Horizon Wednesday April 21, 2010. 11 workers are still missing since a thunderous explosion rocked an oil drilling platform that continued to burn late Wednesday.

. . . One worker said he was awakened by alarms and scrambled to get on a life boat.

"I've been working offshore 25 years and I've never seen anything like this before," said the man, who like others at the hotel declined to give his name . . .

Me? I don't believe in coincidences . . .

  1. Fast boats. I would like to be firing a Chain Gun on a helo with proper training of course.

    White gloves or white socks?

Coincidence...maybe but it is stretching it quite a bit.

  2. Fast boats require a Phalanx CIWS. Nothing less.

Imagine, if you will, a wall of 20mm shells from a Vulcan cannon, walked onto the target by a precision radar and fire control computer. It can knock a 4" shell from the sky.

  3. Say, for instance, that the SoKO ship that blew up, now the oil rig, rockets flying everywhere... say these were all overt provocations.

And we pretend it was all an accident.

I think they are warnings. Same with that massive Norway spiral that appeared in the sky on the eve of Obama's Nobel acceptance that was called a "missile test gone wrong" by the Russians. (like why would they do missile tests right then and there other than to send a message)

What would these entities be warning us about? Probably stuff like the X37B, and what ever plans we have that they know about, say regime change in Iran or missile shields (Katyn II?)

My point is this: this "cold war" is heating up, and fast, and heavy. Could calm down, or these could be birth pains, building up. So far, building up seems to be the order of the day.

  4. Why is no one asking the right questions?????

What would you do if you knew the US was getting ready to vote on allowing more drilling of oil in the Gulf of Mexico and off the Alaska coast and if that happened, the amount of oil you sell them would be reduced? You might hire professional to blow up a floating mobile oil rig (52 miles southeast of Venice, Louisiana)... in the Gulf of Mexico and make it look like an accident.
You'd know that this modern rig has safeguards against blow outs (large masses of pressure). Your objective would be to have oil leaking into the Gulf so that Americans would see this and opinion would sway towards not allowing new drilling in those areas. The news spoon feeds you data daily. Some is truth, some is not.

  5. David-

You got it right on the money there. Cui Bono? will answer all usually.

I also think that we could suffer any number of actual "attacks" and short of another Pearl Harbor, the PTB would seek to stiffle an accurate description of such news, eh? Seems to work both ways here. In this case it benefits the Saudis and the Greens.
